
How are packages shipped? All domestic and international packages are shipped via United States Postal Service. In most cases Flat Rate Priority Mail is the least expensive method.
Should I buy shipping insurance? Quilt Fabric Closeouts will not be responsible for lost or stolen packages. If you would like to purchase extra insurance on a package, please indicate this in the comments section of your order. The actual insurance charge will be added to your total charges. If your package is being shipped internationally and you wish to receive insurance and tracking information, it will be necessary to upgrade to express mail shipping. Additional shipping charges will apply. We have had very good success with USPS. Our delivery rate to date is 99.99%.
I am an international customer. Will I have any additional charges and how is my package declared? Any customs, duties, and VAT taxes are solely the responsibility of the buyer. Quilt Fabric Closeouts will list the total for products purchased on the customs form.
How are the shipping charges calculated? Shipping charges in the system are calculated by the total dollar amount of the order. While we make every attempt to keep this chart as accurate as possible, due to the range of our prices, it is sometimes necessary to make a manual adjustment to the shipping charge. In 95% of cases, the charge is reduced in your favor. In cases of ordering bulk weight or wideback fabrics, it may be necessary to increase the shipping charge to actual costs.

Is there a minimum shipping charge? Yes. Our minimum shipping charge is $3.50.
Is there anywhere you won’t ship to? We will NOT ship orders to Nigeria or Venezuela.
How can I get the most for my shipping expense? When shopping, refer to the chart above. The best way to get the most “bang for your buck” is to fill the package. For example: Ordering 5 yards of fabric will cost you the same as ordering 8 yards of fabric. How is my fabric cut and packaged? All orders are cut with accuracy to ensure you receive the correct yardage. Panels and distinctive stripes are scissor cut and all others are rotary cut. All fabrics are packaged in protective wrap/packaging so they are protected from dirt and odors.
How long does it take for my order to ship? We make every attempt to ship all orders within 48 hours. A missing payment method or incorrect credit card information will delay shipment.
What payment methods do you accept? We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and PayPal. When ordering with PayPal, a link to complete the payment will be provided at the end of our checkout. In addition to the credit cards we accept, PayPal will allow you to pay through a Checking Account. I wanted to pay with Paypal but didn’t see the link when completing my order. What should I do? Send us an email to let us know and we can initiate a PayPal link for you.
Is there a minimum fabric cut? Yes, our standard minimum cut is ½ yard.
What is your Return Policy? Our #1 priority is your satisfaction Incorrect or Defective Item(s): Please inspect your order upon receipt, as returns must be received within 21 days of the shipping date of the order. We stand by the high quality of our products and service, but unfortunately mistakes do happen. If we have made a mistake on your order, or if you receive a defective item, please call/email us to obtain a return authorization. We will gladly issue a full refund or replacement upon receipt and verification of the item(s). We do ask that the item(s) be returned in the same state in which you received it (unwashed, uncut, odor free). Changed Mind/Don’t Like Color: If you receive a fabric and decide you don't want it after all, you may return it within 21 days and we will provide you with an exchange or credit you for the cost of the item, not including shipping costs.
Where do your fabrics come from and how do I know they are first quality? We guarantee that all of our fabrics are purchased from the manufacturer as first quality goods. We do NOT purchase second runs or damaged goods. In a few cases certain lines are only available through a distributor, but we only work with reputable companies that do not sell second quality goods. Due to the nature of cotton goods, even first quality goods can have minor flaws, so we make every effort to check every fabric cut before it is shipped.
What is your company’s Privacy Policy? We take your privacy very seriously. Our site employs the very best security measures available to protect you. All of your personal information including your credit card data will be encrypted, which prevents it from being intercepted over the Internet. Our policy is simple: We will NEVER share or sell your personal information, including your e-mail address, to other companies for any reason.
I don’t like sending information through the Internet. How else may I place an order? We accept orders online, by telephone, and by fax.
Is there are storefront or may I pick up my order? At this time we do not offer public hours at our warehouse. All orders are handled on a mail only basis.
